Take Vitamin B5 to help your skin!

Yesterday I talked about The hydrating B5. Today I’ll give a little glimpse into what vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) does for you on the inside.

I’m a warm advocate of vitamins and other nutrients. My first suggestion when there is a problem is always to look into your nutritional status. Getting proper nutrients in place can help with just about anything. They’re like little miracle drugs, as long as you stay with natural ones.

Vitamin B5

Vitamin B5 is found in many greens and vegetables. Other good recourses are liver, salmon and caviar.

This vitamin works to help regulate maintenance and repair of all bodily tissues. Skin included! Therefore it’s an essential part of the body’s efforts to fight any physical damage. Damage can be caused by excessive exercise, sunbathing, injury, to much stress, not enough sleep etc.

It is vital for the development of muscles, nerves and reproductive health and is a regulator of hormones. Further it serves to promote normal growth of the body, due to its role in hormone production throughout the body.

All this is of course very intricate. But I do hope you can see why it plays a special role for your skin?

Because B Vitamins are water-soluble they are washed away daily. Thus the body’s supply of these important nutrients must be constantly renewed. Quality supplements are a great, safe way to meet the body’s nutritional needs. Just make sure you take a balanced amount. The body is a perfectly organized system, so you need to keep that balance to be maintained to function at its best.

There is so much more to say about Vitamin B5. For instance those with acne some times get prescriptions of mega doses of Vitamin B5. Well, that will be for another post. ☺

Do you have any experience of how B vitamins have helped you? Please share what you know below.
