Equal rights for all, or just for some?

Equal rights? But isn’t this a skin care blog? Well, Its funny, when I don’t blog here in two days It feels like eons of time! What most of you don’t know is that I manage a Swedish blog to. It’s about Network and Online Marketing. So I get caught up there and while doing all that is not about skin, health, wellness and beauty my mind thinks it’s been a week. Now I’m here again but this time my mind is filled with what is going on is US about Marriage aquality! For today, Ill stay there. 😀

Equal rights for all, or just for some?

Equal rights, its time to put the right meaning behind those words!

This week facebook is going red. It’s about marriage equality. I happen to live in Sweden, a country where we do have equal rights. This is all fine and well, but so many places have missed a point. We are all humans and supposedly there are some rights we are all supposed to have… Justice Sotomayor has understood this properly. She is on our side! Pro gay marriage arguments aren’t needed. Not when there is no reason to deny human rights!

How many LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi & Transgender) do you have among friends and family? Perhaps you even belong here yourself? Share this post, those friends of yours will feel empowered!

ps. You can also listen to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, talking on the same equal rights issue. ds.

I have no problems with gay marriage. However I do think that the U.S. has much bigger problems such as a central bank over printing currency, the risk of hyper inflation, and wars all over the place.

True, those are what causes a nation to crumble. Still, for the individual equal marriage can become a huge personal problem when a lifetime partner dies for instance. Pensions, insurance, wills, relatives, children, terminal decisions, those are big issues on a personal level. It’s not about the “party” you know.

Important post Stella! I live in Canada where gay marriage was legalized in 2005. In fact my partner & I got married almost 5 years ago. It really is time to have Marriage Equality for everyone! Thanks for putting this topic front and centre! 🙂
