Animal Therapy will give your skin what it needs!

Animal therapy at its best! ūüėÄ Works just as well with cats, rabbits or a horse. But then better put the kid lying on top! ūüėČ

Animal therapy

Animal therapy works!

The relationship between human and animal is much deeper that understood before. Here is a very interesting article about this. Our skin produce the pleasure hormone oxytocin. Touch some one and the skin-to-skin stroking stimulates oxytocin and you will feel better. This is why stroking a pet or holding hands will make you feel calmer in a stressful situation.

I wrote in an earlier post about how important it is to get touched. That we will literally die if we dont get physical touch on our skin as children. Good to know is that a loving pet can make up for that! Call it animal therapy or just plain LOVE. It works!

Personally I adore cats and miss them in my home right now. At one point in life I had four of them and loved every second! Lots of hair on furniture though. Next time we’ll settle with only two.

Tell me, what is your favourite animal?

If I didn’t have to walk the dog at inconvenient times I could handle a dog too. ūüėČ

I am not an animal person, but a month ago we got goats and I am learning how to milk them. My kids love them and are doing most of the work and milking.

My favorite animal is dogs. Dogs that do not shed, but I love puppies of any breed and I do believe in animal therapy. Many people that live alone usually have a pet and it does wonders for them.
Thank you for your post.

Yes, animals are fantastic as company Cheryl. Even fish serves a great purpose that way!
